5 ways to make life a little sweeter without sugar

Now that we're almost done with the jelly beans, I've remembered why I don't buy huge jugs of sugar for myself: I don't have a whole lot of self control around them! But I do have such a sweet tooth, and I really like a lot of the fruity flavors. And so, once again, I'm left asking myself, why don't I just eat fruit?

In the meantime, I'm trying to think of ways to keep that little bit of fun and sweetness in my life, but without the sucrose coma. This is Sugar and Spikes after all!

+ Switch your shampoo, conditioner, soap, moisturizer, etc for something floral or fruity.

+ Wear something with a favorite character or cute image on it, even if it's just a phone case. (I suggest Pusheen)
 

+ Write in colored pens. I needed a lot of colors for my optics classes, and started writing all my notes in a rainbow of colors. I used a different color every day, to make it easier to find which notes were from Monday two weeks ago.

+ paint your nails a bright color or in a fun pattern (just google strawberry nail art!)

+ Call your mom, best friend, sister or someone else you care about and let them know. Or better yet, send a letter or post card! How sweet would it be to get one in return?
