Weekly Wrap Up, March 20th, 2016

March 20, 2016
+ Finished the Jelly beans. They were delicious, but now they're gone and I shall go back to eating a bit healthier.
+ Got some papers from my adviser to read for my thesis! Things have been going kinda slowly, so I'm hoping this is the beginning of some serious progress.
+ This video of a Spain's Got Talent audition took a pretty impressive turn:

+ All caught up on Agents of Shield, this last episode was a good one!
+ Bought a bunch of new kinds of tea.

+ You know that Hamburg project?
  • Well, it took us 4 or 5 tries to get the software to sync on Thursday,
  • Found the software has updated and changed completely to the point where I think I'll have to be retrained in it. Thankfully, there is still a "classic" version installed.
  • Then found out I'm running out of RAM- which doesn't make any sense, unless the computers new owner is doing something funky with it.
  • Went to work on it today, and it's not syncing up again. Of course, it's the weekend so no one in Hamburg will realize I can't do anything until Monday morning.
  • Of course, I'm expected to troubleshoot it even though I'm in the US and the computer is in Germany, have never met the other user and can't restart it without getting shutting down the remote desktop software.
+ Cold and snowy again. I am so ready for sunshine and warmth, and we had a little taste of it last week.
+ Lots of trouble sleeping this week due to noise, whether it's an excessive sound system, babies crying or a little 6am vacuuming, there were a tough couple of days.

This week:

+ Spring Break starts Friday night, we're driving down to see my Mother in Law for a few days
+ Hoping to do more on my thesis since the break means I have extra time to grade papers.
