Workout Wednesday, April 11th, 2016

Current goals: 

+ Squat a plate by my birthday (mid September) (current PR: 110lbs ~50kg))
+ Run/walk a mile in under 10 minutes (current PR: 11 mins 02 seconds)
+ Long Term Goal: Run 5k in under half an hour

      Things I did:

      + Squatted 95lbs 4x10! 6 or 7 weeks ago I was struggling to do 3x3 at that weight.
      + and the next time only managed 8,6,5 at 100lbs, with my last rep a big, fat failed rep. I just sat down and... Kept sitting. I didn't sleep well the night before, due to a neighbor singing until 2 am.
      + Realized I have a much easier time squatting if I bounce off my calves/use stretch reflex. I know this is a thing people do, but I'm not sure I should be relying on it at this point.
      + My phone-armband-thing arrived! Now I can listen to music while I lift without sticking my phone in my sports bra strap or the waste band of my pants (once it fell down my leg!). Now everyone will be able to see what crappy music I'm listening to.
      + Bench and OHP are still stuck. :(

        Things I hope to work on this week:

        + another shot at 100lbs.
        + I should have more time this next week since my TAing is done (just grading now) so I hope to get more running in.
