Workout Wednesday

Current goals: 

+ Squat a plate by my birthday (mid September) (current PR: 120lbs ~54.4kg)
+ Run/walk a mile in under 10 minutes (current PR: 10 mins 52 seconds)
+ Long Term Goal: Run 5k in under half an hour

    Things I did:

    + Brought my front squat up to 80 lbs, but I have trouble holding it up after that. It always seems to end up resting on my collar bone. Ouchies!
    + Won the bench press challenge, and got a travel mug with the gym's logo on it (I'm pretty excited about it, honestly, my work is air conditioned halfway to Siberia during the summer) and a $20 gift certificate to Wawa (it's kinda like a sheetz).
    + Did some incline dumbbell bench press for the first time
    + More 5-3-1 squatting, and we had to wait for a squat rack for I think the first time ever! Two guys were practicing cleans in them. Oh, and I did some Bulgarian split squats (just bodyweight), which I hate and hadn't done in a long time, and I was pleasantly surprised at how much easier they were.

    Things I hope to work on this week:

    + So usually I can do at least one chip up, but this past week I just couldn't do it, so I want to pay more attention to them.
