Travel Tuesday: Ferries along to Croatian Coast

July 12, 2016

During our week in Croatia we took both twice once from Dubrovnik to a smaller town called Hvar (pronounced kind of like fwar) and from there to Split. The ferries were all large ships and reminded me of an airplane on the inside with two aisles between large seats in rows. Inside we are surrounded by windows with snack bar and toilets in the back. On the way to Hvar I finish the candied orange peels I bought in Dubrovnik and watch the scenery fly by.

We also made a stop in Korčula, a possible birth place of Marco Polo, to let passengers off and pick up some new ones.
